The Glenolden Borough map of 1909, shows “J.H. Clark” as the owner of the Good House. It is hard to know if “J.H” referred to James H. Clark (1856-1909) or his son John H. Clark ( 1892-1951).

And in the boredom of COVID, I realized the french doors could use some love. The previous owner thought that instead of adding a screen/storm door to each of the french doors, SCREWING a wooden frame to the doorway and swapping out 3 random size windows and screens twice a year would be better…
The floor has seen at least three colors of dull “jail bird gray” before I decided to remove it all. Now in my defense, the paint wasn’t exactly adhering very well. We purchased the home in the fall of 2016, and four years later, it was very worse for wear!
